Confidence and Respect

It is our aim to teach children to be confident, comfortable in their own skins, and respectful of others. The dramatic arts is an excellent vehicle to promote these skills.

Making our Academy Better and Better!

Term Two has ended on a high, with wonderful Parent Day Presentations and a Whacky Week. Time for a recharge of batteries and reflection. But first, before the break, we Helen O Grady Principals get together for our annual seminar where we exchange ideas, encourage each other, brush up in our teaching with some training, and endeavor to make sure your children are getting the best from our expertise! This year we gathered in Johannesburg for two days of wonderfully inspiring activities and information, which I hope when implemented will give our Bloemfontein Academy students even more of a leg up when it comes to confident communication and performance skills.

I am on my way to Australia as I type this, but am looking forward to getting started again for term Three when I get back.

Happy holidays everyone!

2014 is upon us!

Countdown to classes starting up for 2014!
Some things you should know: -

* I am starting Wednesdays up again, but this time in the Northern area. If you feel Wednesdays fit your schedule better, come join us! Wednesdays are usually Netball Match days, I know and many of you are involved with that.
* There has been a request in LANGENHOVEN PARK for a Kindy class (3 to 6 year olds). If we can get a class of 5 or more children together, I will start teaching a Kindy class there.

Happy 2014 everyone!!
